That’s right! This will be a list of the top ten states in the U.S. to visit as a park enthusiast!
Number 5:
Virginia
This place is more known for it history and lovers, but I think once you add Busch Gardens Williamsburg, and Kings Dominion, it makes it a very attractive place for park enthusiasts. BGW being one of my favorite places to visit, I couldn’t leave Virginia off of this list!
Number 4:
Ohio
Could I really do this list without this state? Not really! I mean you have two of the BIGGEST parks in the country in this state. Those being Cedar Point and Kings Island if you didn’t already know. So there was no way it was not going to make this list!
Number 3:
California
In all honesty, this place should probably be number one. Just for the fact that this state has the most parks on this list. But then again, this list is somewhat my personal opinion mixed in so there may be a little bias. You have some awesome parks in this state! Disney, Universal, Magic Mountain, Knott’s Berry Farm, Discovery Kingdom, Sealworld, etc. So this had to be on the list for sure, even if it’s not my personal favorite.

Number 2:
Pennsylvania
I absolutely love visiting this state. It is just so full of park goodness! You got Kennywood and Hershey Park two of the best parks there is. Plus if that’s not enough, you have Dorney and Knoebels! Then you sprinkle in plenty of small parks here and there, and you just have a state that you can not miss visiting.
Number 1:
Florida
This is my all time personal favorite place to visit. There is just so much to do, and the parks there offer so much in return for your money! Universal and Disney both give you experiences that you could not experience elsewhere. I can not express my love for the central Florida area. Then if you head over to Tampa you can get your thrill fix on all of the coasters there. Not to mention, the smaller places like the two Fun Spots. Plus add in the water parks, there is just so much to do, and that is why it is number 1 on my list!
I hope that you enjoyed this list, if you would like, tell me your favorite state below. I would love to hear some others! Thanks for reading and have a great day!
