So Saturday was the annual Golden Ticket Awards! It took place a Lake Compounce and Quassy up in Connecticut. There were no really big shocks this year, and a lot more of the same type of rankings. Which to be honest, comes at no surprise, considering the fact that the only really big game changers the past few years have been RMC coasters and Fury 325.

I was happy to see Mystic Timbers get best new ride. I haven’t actually rode it myself, but my father just absolutely loves it! So I think it deserves to have that spot for this year. I am also glad to see that Boulder Dash is no longer number 1. I have rode some great woodies, and Boulder Dash is a good one, but not even top ten for me. I think things like The Voyage and The Beast are just better roller coasters. Heck, I even think Shivering Timbers and Ravine flyer II are better. Of course these are just my opinions!
Anyways, I love to see all of the rankings every year, and I am looking forwards to what ride is going to be the best new ride next year. With all of the attractions coming in 2018, who knows what that will be. But for now, its on to Halloween season, and I could not be more excited for it! So look forward to a ton of Halloween coverage!
